Ryan was a 4 lb 12 oz preemie, which by preemie standards is pretty good size. He seemed like a giant baby in the NICU.At two months he was 9 lb 9 oz and 21 inches - and in the 5th percentile
At four months, he was 13 lb 12 oz and 24" - and in the 20th percentile
At his 6 month appointment he was a whopping 16 lb 14 oz and 26" and in the 50th percentile!
Never before have I been so happy to be average!
Hooray for average! That is spectacular growth! My last one started off in the 90th percentile for weight and height and by the time he was a year he was, at the most, in the 20th percentile and at his 4 year old well-check he was in the 10th. ;( This is pretty much the growth pattern all 6 kids took. I promise, I do feed them.
